Anyone out there? I’m leaving the hideout in the next couple of days, if there is anyone out there in need of help (ahemShoahem) I will gladly offer my assistance. I have a lot to tell, but I’m not sure where to start. For one I’m now alone, Mr. Chairman decided to join his ancestors after a battle with the infection (I should have killed those two assholes when I had the chance…), and I must admit I was depressed for the longest time. I wonder where the Priest and David have gone to; I wonder where Sho is and if Pappa is still mad at me.
Tucker and I have been having nightmares.
I was trembling, wet cold and miserable.
After Tucker had attacked whoever had grabbed me a second man appeared and hit my baby cat to the ground, I wasn’t sure if the bastard killed him or not because I was hurled away and throw into a small room and no matter how much I banged on the door no one would open the damn door. Didn’t I know I was a lawyer and I never go quiet in my defense!? I could smell fire and hear the sizzling of something cooking and for a second I thought they were peeling and eating my Tucker.
I am going to kill them if they did.
Given the circumstances this was within the picture.
Deyhra walked quietly through the empty street, Tucker beside her wearing cute little white boots to keep the snow out of his paws, while the human looked around them. The weather was still cold, the roads still icy and she was covered with a coat and three different long sleeve shirts. Her boots made minimum noise and suddenly she halted, the cat with her did too and they turned to look at each other.
“Don’t even start.”
So the cat started walking and she followed.
Is it me or did things got a WHOLE lot LOT calmer since... well... yeah? Anyone there?
Deyhra’s eyes opened. Her head turned, slightly and because of the sunlight bothering her the lid opened to find herself over a comfortable bed, and for some reason she looked down at her hand; Tucker’ was snuggled against her tight, but his head was inside her hand, as he often did when he’d been a kitten. She couldn’t remember having gone to bed, and taking a deep breath she decided to enjoy the warmth of the moment, and the laziness of it all.
There was some discomfort, even some pain, but at the moment she was too warm to care. Too numb to actually understand…
“Deyhra, can you hear me? Stay with us!!”
“We gotta stop the bleeding before we take out the bullet!”
“Apply pressure here while I get something to sterilize her wound.”
“Deyhra everything is gonna be ok. Pappa Doc is taking really good care of you.” David told her while holding her hand to comfort her.
The first shot she fired she couldn’t really remember at what exactly she shot, but she found David soon enough, shooting at some walkers that were trying to kill a lone soldier. “Get over here!” She screamed at both of them, while the fire ate at the foundation of a particular building and brought it down. “Have either of you seen Sho?”
“She was with me but then vanished.”
“Hey! Hey!” Called Deyhra moving through the commander’s building, searching for Pappa Doc. She first found his assistant and was pulling at his arm when another explosion was heard. “Where’s Pappa?”
“We were separated; he said he was going to check on Andy.”
“Then he guesses the same! Go find David and Sho and tell them to meet us there, and get some guards to find Luca!”
“We are already overwhelmed ma’am!”
“Just do it damn it!” And she ran past several more guards and civilians.
