Sorry for my extended absence - real life seems to have taken over. I am in the middle of job hunting due to being cut back to 20 hours per week on my job, as well as my husband's seizures (had brain tumor removed last August) have been wreaking havoc with him, so I'm a bit busy there as well.

Trying to catch up with reading (thanks for the continued "nagging" Travis! LOL) and will make a post tonight or tomorrow! ;)

Well its been an interesting day. For several days, Travis has been doing fairly well, wounds healing nicely and all. However, this morning, he started having some respiratory issues and his blood pressure dropped then he flatlined on me. I called for some help, and it took me and another nurse first doing CPR and then using the defibrillator kit to get his heart going again.

After we got Travis' pulse back and got a decent blood pressure, the other nurse mentioned that things were a bit crazy around the Citadel as a zombie horde is approaching. Wonderful. So, we took some extra precautions and went ahead and restrained Travis - I mean, he is a big guy, and there's no way that I could stop him if something happened. With his vitals flipping out and him flatlining out of nowhere, I figured this was the safest thing to do for now. His vitals are still showing some strange readings.

Doc, could you come by and check out things with Travis? I have him stable for now, but I really think this is something you should check on.

about what is going on with Travis please! I have not been allowed to see him, nor will anyone tell me what is going on with him. I am fixing to have a high-speed come apart soon if someone doesn't get me in to see him or update me on his status. I need to know what is going on PLEASE!!!

I'm really at a loss for words at the moment and still in shock. I'm not really sure what I expected on my first mission with the Mermadon Unit, but watching 25 men die was definitely not on the list. Travis says we are headed to meet up with Warrens and Nickens. All I want to do is sleep, but I don't want the nightmares that will come with it. I don't really want to think about this all right now. *sigh*

This is the first chance I've had to get on here and post, finally been allowed access to a laptop. A few weeks back Carnes got me and some other girls out of the hell hole we were held in while in London and back to the US - well, its home for me anyway...new territory for the other girls. My name is Toshiro Mii; I'm an American - my mom was Japanese, and my dad was American. I'm 31 years old, and I was in London attending King's College working on my Masters in Science Education. I was hoping to complete this within the year and come back to the states and hopefully find a position teaching at a college and hopefully - eventually - go for the PhD. So much for that.
