New haunts.

Survival dictates that I needed a new place to stay. The big problem now is that I have survived for far too long for a living creature and food is becoming very scarce. About a year ago, I was still able to raid supermarkets for food and what not but that is not an option that I can partake willy nilly anymore. I do believe that there might be some food left, forgotten by the early marauders and the subsequent thieves, but as time passes, I'm beginning to think that those places should not be avoided at all costs. Even though electrical power is still flowing in most of the building, thank god for automated machines, many of the food are already spoiled or even expired. I really believed some of the places had become contaminated with germs and other pollutant. I did not live this long, suffered enough backstabs to make tattoos of my back, to die to salmonella or food poisoning. That would be the last resort.

I needed a new place where I could make food for myself like that time I've spend underground. They had showed me how to make a self sustaining environment where you don't have to look for food anymore. Ever since I got back to the sunlight, I have been looking for similar places to make my own. The biggest problem they had underground was sunlight, which is no problem for me. Finding a place to plant food is a huge problem in this sea of concrete. There was a this building I once saw in the monorail, when I was still working as a government servant, on top of a hotel with a swimming pool and a small garden on top of it. When I made my way there a few days ago, I was surprise to actually find the place empty. There were signs of people there after the break, but it seemed that they too had abandoned it so long ago. So that's what I have been doing all this time, fortify the place to prevent a breakout.

Now to turn the swimming pool and garden to a functioning food source.
