Well, being born and raised in this area, and spending large quantities of time in the local forests and parks as a child and teenager I was able to easily slip into isolation when the first signs of the outbreak started, making my way slowly down the maumee river until I reached the long abandoned Fort Meigs, which was sealed off a few years prior due to lack of public funding, the tall wooden palisade served me very well when the first infected beings began roaming the area, the deep trenches around it also served well, as did the blockhouse in the center, from there, i was able to leave the fort at odd hours to gather supplies from local farmers fields, and I was able to gather large quantities of medicine from the pharmacy located less then a mile away from the fort. Eventually people started arriving from the outlying areas, most if not all had been on the run for several months, others had just left the safety of their hold-out areas. over time, the infected just followed the "food" north towards Detroit, leaving us in relative peace, save the bands of people passing through who would attempt to break in, only to be beaten back and the infected who now call the buildings of Toledo and the surrounding areas "home". within another month, many of us decided it was time to move on, of the original 35 people, 21 left with us, gathering additional weapons from local gun shops, Mostly hunting rifles, 3 CZ 527's, 7 M1A's, and 4 Cx-4 storms, plus 3 police issue M-16's found near a couple barricades and 4 MP-5's stolen from the back of an abandoned SWAT van outside of perrysburg.

We are in dire need of medical supplies, our regular pain medication is now gone, our bandages are over used, we are heading towards Promedica's Toledo hospital to hopefully live there for now,but the status of their pharmacy is unknown, but its suspected to be completely drained of supplies.
